Founded in 1956 at the Polish Parish of Our Lady of the Bright Mount in Los Angeles, Krakusy has been a cornerstone of the Polish-American community in SoCal for seven decades.

Key milestones

• 1984 — Performed at the Opening Ceremonies of the LA Olympic Games
• 1987 — Performed for Pope John Paul II at Dodger Stadium
• Artistic Director: Edward Hoffman (since 1998)
• Named after the residents of Kraków, Poland's ancient capital
